Deschutes County is a place where people come to build a life — whether they arrived generations ago or just last year. Our strength comes from families, workers, small business owners, veterans, professionals, and retirees who choose to call this community home. I was welcomed here as a young Marine Corps veteran and a mother, and I believe in extending that same sense of belonging to everyone who wants to contribute to our shared future. My platform is built on three priorities that reflect what matters most to the people who live and work here today.

Promote housing strategies that strengthen our workforce, support local employers, and keep communities stable and connected.

Strengthen a diverse and resilient local economy with policies that support businesses of every size to help employers grow, invest, and create stable jobs for our community.

Expand workforce training, apprenticeships, and clear career pathways that prepare residents for reliable, family-wage jobs that also strengthen our local economy.

Invest in essential infrastructure that supports responsible growth, strengthens our economy, and protects the quality of life in every community.

Protect taxpayers by demanding disciplined budgeting and investing only in programs that demonstrate real, measurable results for our communities.

Strengthen public safety by supporting CORE3, expanding wildfire prevention, and ensuring our first responders have the training and resources they need to protect our communities.

Champion stronger youth mental health services and expand access to care so families can get help early, prevent crises, and address the root causes of illness and addiction.

Encourage housing and services for adults with disabilities, mental health needs, and seniors.

Support land-use policies that empower property rights while ensuring responsible, well-planned growth.

Encourage development that fits the character of our communities with opportunities for mixed-use, Firewise, and infrastructure-ready development.
